Q: Do Scrubby Pads contain Soft Scrub cleanser?
A: The cleanser imbedded in the pads is an all-purpose cleanser specially formulated to target tough bath and kitchen soils, providing the deep cleaning power consumers have come to expect from Soft Scrub.

Q: Do Scrubby Pads contain bleach?
A: No, the cleanser does not contain bleach.

Q: On what surfaces are Scrubby Pads safe to use?
A: Scrubby Pads are safe to use on Stainless Steel, Chrome, Ceramic, Tile, Glass, Formica, Granite, Porcelain, and Quartz.

Q: How many uses can you get out of each pad?
A: Each Scrubby Wipe is intended for one cleaning session, though can be used on multiple surfaces within a cleaning session.

Q. Can Soft Scrub Cleansers be used to clean a microwave oven?
A. Yes. Soft Scrub Cleansers can be used inside a cool microwave oven, but we do not recommend using it on the exterior of the microwave. We recommend squeezing directly on the surface or onto a damp sponge. Rub gently. Rinse or wipe clean.

Q. Are Soft Scrub Cleansers abrasive?
A. Soft Scrub Cleansers are mildly abrasive.

Q. Can Soft Scrub Cleansers be used on dishes, cookware and glassware?
A. Soft Scrub Cleansers can be used on dishes and cookware as long as those items are thoroughly rinsed afterwards. Do not use on non-stick pans and not recommended for use on glassware.

Q. Is Soft Scrub Cleanser a registered disinfectant?
A. Only Soft Scrub with Bleach Cleanser is a registered disinfectant.

Q. What are the differences between the various Soft Scrub Cleanser products?

Q. Can Soft Scrub Cleansers be used on carpets or leather?
A. No. We do not recommend using Soft Scrub Cleansers on carpets or leather.

Q. Is it safe to use Soft Scrub Cleansers on my stainless steel sink?
A. Yes. Soft Scrub Cleansers are safe on stainless steel surfaces. Rub gently to prevent scratching.

Q. Can I use Soft Scrub Cleansers on the fiberglass surfaces in my bathroom?
A. Yes. However, we do recommend that you use the product sparingly and rub it on gently with a damp sponge.

Q. Can I use Soft Scrub Cleansers on glass shower doors?
A. Yes. Soft Scrub Cleansers can be used to clean glass shower doors. We recommend squeezing directly onto surfaces or onto a damp sponge. Rub gently. Rinse or wipe clean.

Q. Can I use Soft Scrub Cleansers as a spot remover on my clothes or canvas shoes?
A. No. We do not recommend applying the product to clothing or shoes as a spot remover.

Q. What types of countertops can Soft Scrub Cleansers be used on?
A. Soft Scrub Cleansers can be used on both Corian® and Formica surfaces (safe on all surfaces except marble). We recommend squeezing directly onto the surfaces or onto a damp sponge. Rub gently. Rinse or wipe clean. Please see list of recommended surfaces on Home Page.

Q. Can Soft Scrub Cleansers be used for cleaning fiberglass?
A. Yes. But to prevent scratching fiberglass use sparingly, and rub gently with a damp sponge.

Q. Are Soft Scrub Cleansers safe on plastic or acrylic?
A. Soft Scrub Cleansers can be used on plastic and acrylic, but to prevent scratching, use sparingly and rub gently with a damp sponge. Test in inconspicuous area first some acrylics can be scratched by even mild abrasives like Soft Scrub Cleanser. If OK, apply gently and sparingly with damp sponge or non-abrasive applicator. If using Soft Scrub with Bleach Cleanser, avoid prolonged contact.

Q. Will using Soft Scrub Cleansers harm my septic system?
A. No. The recommended use of Soft Scrub Cleansers will not have any harmful effect on a household septic system.

Q. Can Soft Scrub Cleansers be used on glass?
A. Yes. Soft Scrub Cleansers can be used for cleaning glass, but the surface should be thoroughly rinsed afterward. Use sparingly and rub gently.

Q. Where can I purchase Soft Scrub Cleansers?
A. Soft Scrub Cleansers are nationally available at grocery stores and mass merchandisers such as Wal-Mart, Kmart and Target.

Q. What are the ingredients of Soft Scrub Cleansers?
A. Soft Scrub Cleansers contains calcium carbonate, which is a mild abrasive. In addition, the product contains proprietary surfactants (detergent-type ingredients) that add to its overall cleaning power.

Q. Are Soft Scrub Cleansers harmful to use during pregnancy?
A. When used as directed, we do not anticipate any adverse effects. However, as with all cleaning products, minimize use during pregnancy. If you have specific questions, please contact your doctor.

Q. What kinds of surfaces can I safely use Soft Scrub® Cleansers on?
A. Soft Scrub Cleansers can be used for cleaning tubs, tiles, sinks, countertops and pots and pans. It can also be used for cleaning laminate surfaces, Corian®, grout and fiberglass. (Please note: To prevent scratching aluminum, fiberglass, plastic and appliance enamel on refrigerators, dishwashers, oven doors and other appliances, use sparingly. Rub gently with damp sponge.)

Q. Can Soft Scrub Cleansers be used on natural or synthetic marble?
A. Test in inconspicuous area first marble can be scratched by even mild abrasives like Soft Scrub Cleanser. If OK, apply gently and sparingly with damp sponge or non-abrasive applicator. Alternately, use Soft Scrub Gel Cleanser and rinse immediately.

Q. Can Soft Scrub Cleansers be used on floors, ceilings and walls?
A. No. We do not recommend using Soft Scrub Cleansers on floors, ceilings and walls. However, Soft Scrub Gel with Bleach can be used for larger surfaces, such as floors, by mixing 1/4 cup per 1 gallon of warm water.

Q. What is the shelf life of Soft Scrub Cleanser?
A. The shelf life of Soft Scrub Cleansers are one year.

Q. Can Soft Scrub Cleansers be mixed with bleach, ammonia or other household products?
A. No.

Q. Are Soft Scrub Cleansers harmful to children?
A. Soft Scrub Cleansers should be kept out of reach of children.

Q. Are Soft Scrub Cleanser containers recyclable?
A. Yes. The containers are made of #2 recyclable HDPE.
